WCE25 caught up with Jordan to discuss his experience at the Hoop All American Camp in Louisville, Kentucky.

Attending the Hoop Scoop All American camp was a great opportunity. It allowed me to measure my skill set against other players as well as play with some of the top 6th and 7th graders from different states. I was able to watch some of the incoming 8th and 9th graders play which I believe will benefit my future workout goals. I plan to continue to work on strength training, ball handling, shooting and continue to workout with my older brother Kyle. I plan to continue to play for California Elite (Coached by Dave Miller & Assistant Coach Blake Geisler). Coach Miller has really been a vital part of my maturation in the game. Coach Miller challenges me to play the game of basketball “the right way”. Our California Elite Team out of Manhattan Beach, CA has only been together for less than one year, but we are a disciplined, well coached squad that is getting better each week.
Greatest moment during camp:
Most people would think I would say “winning games” is what made it great.  However, just having the opportunity to play along side other kids that love the game of basketball is what makes the entire experience great.  I have watched many of other players that were there on the internet and they have watched me. So to meet them in person was something I will remember for a long time. Also, to have my older brother there to encourage me will be a lasting memory.  I was also very excited and grateful to have a few of my family members from Nashville, TN there to support me and watch me play!
What will I do different to prepare for next year vs this year?
I will continue with strength training, continue ball handling and shooting workouts. Continue to watch older players, learn from them to increase my basketball IQ.
Goals for upcoming year:
Become a better player in all areas of the game. Continue to play against older competition, take my game to another level and help get my teammates better.
Shout-Outs:
To my family, teammates, mentors and other coaches:

Coach Tre Notthingham-Hard2Guard-Moreno, Valley, CA
