13u Rankings Updated through 9/28

Ambition - Nearness Ambition – Nearness

  1. Dream Vision 2018 Blue  / Had a nice run towards the end of spring and start of summer culminating with the Edge Tournament Victory.  Tough Guards and the potential for new additions to the squad should make it tough for everyone on the West Coast.
  2. 916 Select  / The DI AAU National Participant and Pool Winner had another year of great travel mileage. Look for them to use their National success to make a run at #1 and at Nationals next summer. #16 in National AAU Rankings
  3. Oakland Soldiers / The Soldiers are so good up in NorCal that they often play up to not only compete, but to win.
  4. LA Bobcats / Showcased their talent and Size in winning the Open Gym Fall Hoopfest.  They need to become more consistent to dethrone the top 3 teams.  We look forward to seeing the development of MOP Jalen Slaughter.
  5. SPKnights / The WCBA Elite Team took on the WCE challenge by participated in the event and proved they are a Top 5 squad.  They had a sudden death win over #7 Newport Lightning.  Look for the upcoming profile on “Fletch” this coming weekend.
  6. Flight Elite Black / Another team that made a National Splash in Indianapolis. The top team for the early part of the season following their success at ACES MLK is hungry to be the marquee team in the West Coast.
  7. Newport Lightning / One of WCE25s favorite squads had a good showing at the Open Gym Fall Hoopfest as their only defeat came at the hands of #5 SPK Knights in Sudden Death.  We enjoyed watching the play of their 3 solid guards David, Jordan and Brandon.
  8. SF Rebels / The Rebels are the squad that always makes noise at the SGV invitational.  We expect an HD version of that noise this coming season
  9. Rising Stars / 10th Place at DII Nationals is only good enough for 8th in the West.  The high energy squad looks to build momentum following their National run at Hampton, Virginia.
  10. Miller Elite Basketball  / The team made a run at the Focus Championships this past summer.  Will they be back for more?
  11. Inland Force / The IE’s elite squad are so tough, they will wear you down. Look for them to wear plenty of WCE25 Championship T-Shirts this coming season
  12. Tri-City  / Great run at Nationals followed by a Summer Championship at San Diego’s premier summer tournament the Top Gun Invitational.  Ranked #20 DII Nationally by AAU Rankings.
  13. Yellow-Jackets / The Yellow Jackets officially became an elite team when Spencer Pulliam of DunkDog.com proclaimed them one of the top club teams in the nation.
  14. Long Beach Gold / The team that had a decent 2011, had a great 2012.  It may have something to do with balling out of the great Carson Athletic Center.
  15. Phx Family / Look for them to use their championship at AZ’s Summer Sizzle as a springboard for greater things to come.
  16. AZ Team Powerhouse / Here is hoping this squad has another run in them.
  17. X-Factor Utah / Splashed onto the scene at the ACES Coca Cola Nationals.
  18. 1 Team 1 Dream / We love their supporters because they always remind us of their accomplishments; here is hoping we see them in person at our WCE25 Open Gym Events.
  19. Hoopmasters / Well coached squad that reminds you why Parker Cartwright is so darn good.
  20. AZ Eagles / This team gets “No Respect” from everyone in the West.  Too bad, they get the ultimate respect from WCE25.
  21. SD Rebels / The SD team will look to improve on their ranking after an up and down season.  This is another team that we love watching at the SGV invitational.
  22. Las Vegas Rebel Nation / The Vegas team always compete.
  23. All City West  / Another team that is expect to make a run at the rankings.
  24. Vegas Venom / Represented at the Big Mountain Jam with a championship
  25. Beast Up / (2nd at Open Gym Fall Hoopfest) / The team had a great run at Open Gym Fall HoopFest.

Others Receiving Consideration: TBF, AZ Finest, Vallejo Hustlers, Arizona Magic (Won Phx is Rising September Slam), GameFace (Won Next Level Back to School Jam), Roadrunners, NorCal Pharaohs, AVAC, NCYS Cobras, Team Bibby, Elk Grove Running Rebels (Won Xtreme Hoops Back to School Shoot-Out), Las Vegas Swoosh, Vegas Elite, Montebello Mavs, San Diego All Stars, Team Dojo, GameFace and Solana Beach.
