CAMP OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
 

The Open Gym Superstar Camp featuring West Coast Elite 25 Basketball is designed for the top young players on the West Coast to participate in an advanced, high-intensity camp. The two day event featured top area talent in competitive drills intended to challenge each player physically and mentally. Labeled the “Superstar Camp”, the goal of the camp is to identify which players have what it takes to be impact players at the next level while providing a rigorous two days of dynamic performance training, skills training, live situational work and 5 on 5 games. Open Gym handpicks professional coaches to lead different segments of the camp to provide players with the perspective of experienced players and coaches. This year’s camp featured NBA D-League Point Guard, Mike Gerrity breaking down key principles of the pick n’ roll. The Superstar Camp also brings talented players together to listen to role models and mentors speak on key topics such as leadership, hard work and discipline. A true test of basketball ability and mental fortitude, the Superstar Camp is not for everyone.

The Superstar Camp takes place each year in August and December in Orange County, California.
